Pattern: Jedidiah Shorts
Size cut: 30
Alterations: I altered the waist band and sewed it a little differently than instructed- it doesn't have the pretty, professional bias showing. I waited on binding the seat seam and did one binding strip to do so. I changed the hem to not include the bias-bound fold-over cuff.
Fabric Type: Quilting cotton from Jo-Ann's
How it went: It was shocking how much easier this was to sew than last time. I've really come a long way. That said: that fly! Arghh. I need a new way to do flys for this pattern. The top stitching just doesn't work with the zipper. The topstitching went fantastically, though!
