Some inspirational thoughts for sewing....

It might be hard to combine suede and jersey, because of the varying thicknesses. Getting a thicker knit, like a ponte, might ruin the pleats and gathers of this pattern. Perhaps I can find a thinner suede.

Brocade pants! I want them. I spent like an hour research the differences between jacquard, brocade and damask. I understand that the difference comes from historical variations in the way the material was woven, but I still can't tell you the difference for today's fabric.
