York top and patterns for pirates pencil skirt

Okay, last old make. 

Y'alllllll, I made this short out of a tablecloth... And you can tell, amiright? Also a knit pencil skirt?? Wut? I hate all pencil skirts. And really, I don't like wearing skirts...or dresses!

Looking over these old makes has really helped me reflect on how far I've come. In the past, I adapted my style to what was available to me, both via skills and readily available fabrics. and I never thought like, oh I can make things that I like. I can find inspiration from rtw and make things that reflect my true personal style, which for me is more classic, lots of solids and neutrals.
